BOTOX® Cosmetic Injectables
When will I see results?
You’ll start to notice improvements within about 5 days, with the full effect being visible by around the 14-day mark.
How long will the results last for?
It varies depending on the area where you’re receiving treatment. In general, however, the full effects last for around 3-4 months before they begin to gradually wear off.
Is the treatment painful?
While the treatment does involve an injection, it’s applied with a fine needle that most people don’t find to be especially uncomfortable. If needed, pain sensitivity around the treatment area can be reduced with localized anesthetic.
Are there side effects or downtime?
It’s normal to experience some redness for about an hour immediately after the treatment. In rare cases there can also be minor bruising or swelling as well. You’ll be able to resume most daily activities immediately, but exercise should be avoided for around 4 hours, and any activities that put pressure or friction on the treatment area should be avoided for a full day.
